Emiri Miyamoto


Born in Tokyo in 1983, violinist EMIRI MIYAMOTO spent her childhood in Germany. At 14, she won first prize at the German Youth Music Competition. She has performed 20+ songs for film and TV, including the theme song for anime "NODAME CANTABILE in Paris”, released four albums, and is currently the culture segment anchor for a major TV news show in Japan.

Born in Tokyo in 1983, violinist EMIRI MIYAMOTO spent most of her childhood in Germany.
At age 14, she won first prize at the German Youth Music Competition in Dusseldorf.
After participating several orchestras including Seiji Ozawa Opera Project and NHK Symphony, EMIRI released her debut album "smile" in 2007.
Over the last 3 years, she has performed more than 20 songs for film, TV shows, and TV commercials, including “Les enfants de la Terre ” (main theme song for TV documentary "THE SEKAI ISAN /World Heritage" on TBS) and “Tokyo et Paris” (ending theme song for the anime program "NODAME CANTABILE ? in Paris” on FUJI-TV). MIYAMOTO has followed up her 2007 debut with "tears" (2008) ,"dream" (2009) and "for" (2010).
In addition to all of these activities, she finds time to host a culture segment for evening news program “NEWS ZERO” on NTV.
